Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested; Detectives searching for Additional Victims NR23180bb

Reseda: On June 28, 2023, around 9:55 p.m., the victim was asleep inside of her residence in the 19500 block of Saticoy Street when the suspect entered her residence through a window. The suspect, later identified as Blessing Wainiwheh, sexually assaulted the victim and fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) West Valley Division deployed numerous resources to the area, located and arrested Wainiwheh. Wainiwheh was found hiding inside a home he had broken into near the victim’s residence.

Detectives from West Valley Division are releasing the suspect’s booking photo because they believe the suspect is responsible for additional, unreported sexual assaults and they are asking for anyone that was victimized by this suspect to immediately contact the LAPD. In addition, Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding this crime.
